Research interests
My general reasearch interets are in optimization and algorihtms and their applications in communications and signal processing. I am particularly interested in the following areas:
Optimization and algorithms:Design and analysis of the performance of optimization algorithms
Signal processing applications in MIMO systems
ML-detection:Development of efficient exact and approximate
algorithms for ML-detection of MIMO systems based on the statistical
nature of the problem (e.g. modifications of the Sphere
decoder, analysis of the mixing time of the Markov chain monte
carlo (MCMC) methods, analysis of the guaranteed performance of the
SDP-relaxations)
Broadcast channels:Design and performance analysis of the practical schemes that
asymptotically achieve limiting sum-rate under
various circumstances (e.g. different dimensions of the system,
availability and accuracy of the channel estimate etc.)
